Stair Step Method Blog is changing

For all of my regular readers you will notice that I only have the categories of Engaged Couples, Personal Finances and a newly added Single Parents.

From now on, this is where my focus will be. Many of you know that I was raised by a single parent and thought it was time for me to provide some resources and recommendations for the single parents out there that believe they are alone.

I have also changed my website Stairstepyourwayoutofdebt.com to focus on these parents that need support. So if you know of someone that is a single parent send them there.

I will also have single parent interviews that will be posted on this blog in the single parent category from time to time. If you have a question, do not hesitate to write me.

2008 is going to be a Blessed, Highly Manifestation of God’s Will for our lives.

Come back and read some more.

Sixty Days of Praise

I wanted all of my readers to know that on my taffywagner.com/blog, myself and a couple of my closest sisters are blogging for the next sixty days sharing our praise and testimonies. We are inviting our readers to share their praise reports in the comments section. You will be encouraged and blessed by what you read.

Do not hesitate to go to that blog and share.

Canceling things that cost money and no return

I go through this phase where I cancel things that do not generate money. How many of you have done that? I always find out just how much has been going out and not coming in. You should sit down and do this and see for yourself.

This will help you get stuff in order. So I take that money and apply it to a bill and pay off a bill faster. What will you do if you find out this information? It is essential to have a personal finances plan as you go into the new year.

Took a big step of my own

Yesterday one of my dearest friends and sister’s in Christ was sharing with me about some steps she was taking. I am extremely proud of her for what she is doing. I was talking with her about my thoughts over the last few days.

I had decided that I was going to stop my ezines. I felt like I was doing double work. I don’t know if you are an entrepreneur and was doing the same thing. I tell you I had days when I didn’t even get a chance to write on my ezine list.

I felt that I prepare to go into this New Year, I want to write more consistently on my blog and provide that same quality teachings here that people can get.

So, I sent out a message to my lists and told them that after today, I wouldn’t be writing my ezine any more and they could join me here.

Taking time to build Relationships

As an entrepreneur, whether you are working at home or have an office outside of your home it is crucial that you understand the importance of building relationships. I am sure when you first began your business you were thinking about all the business you could get and money you could make. I have come to enjoy and love networking, remaining in contact and helping the business owners that I have formed relationships with.

I have some that I email all the time just to say hello and see how the family is going. There are others that will send me a “skype” if they see me on saying good morning. I have found this to be soooo special and warms my heart. Why? Because we have gone past that business associate relationship to friend, Sister in Christ, support system and even sounding board. Has that happened to you? What a difference it makes in your business.

My husband and I also do that for each other. We also have people in our individual professions we have that same type of relationship. One of the things I like is when I get confirmation from two or three people that are not even aware I have discussed it with another person. They all tell me the same thing based on their own experience and level of confidence. That truly makes my day. Do you know how much this can keep you on the right path versus getting off on a tangent or being distracted!

I say to you as an entrepreneur take the time to build relationships. As you are assisting another business owner grow their business and build solid relationships, watch what happens with your business.
